One last entertaining bit of superhero news for today, from my favorite movie site, regarding DC Comics, Keanu Reeves, and the minds that brought us the Matrix (not to mention the movie of DC's _V for Vendetta_ and the underrated _Speed Racer_):

Saw _I.D._ magazine design-award winners exhibited (now through Sept.) at Parsons New School of Design and saw the great _Hellboy 2_ yesterday, too, fitting for a day that started with a great example of design and superheroism outside the window.

That theatre also provided me with the five-foot-or-so giant black cardboard cross I retrieved from their curbside garbage after _Exorcist: The Beginning_, by the way. Remains in my office, upside down behind the filing cabinet. A few years ago, a couple mischievous interns kept placing it in my window to frighten passersby.

May yet come in handy in case I have to fake being on the Antichrist's side during the Tribulations. That's the conventional wisdom on how best to survive until things settle down, right?

OK, now there's a photo of the big back tires up -- possibly more to come -- care of ACSH second-in-command Dr. Gilbert Ross (who looks a bit like Capt. Marvel villain Dr. Sivana but is a decent guy).

Ah, it required some clean-up from leaked gasoline but has now been successfully driven across Broadway to sit in front of the theatre -- I have seen the Batmobile driving the streets of Gotham.
