And yet, plainly, you're missing something here. Because if the mainstream media really are so left-leaning, then why did they get behind the Iraq war so uncritically,and for so long? Why did network news, cable news, and even the NY Times, until a couple of years ago, almost monolithically promote the talking points, and even the verifiable lies of the Bush Administration?
