NOTE: The entry above has been corrected to reflect the fact that Christine Caldwell, not Holly Caldwell, wrote the "Light, Sweet, and Crude" column. Holly, a Smiths fan like the rest of us, called hers "Hatful of Head."

That scene where Maddie (Laura's cousin played by the same actress) is sitting on the floor in the living room and when Killer Bob enters the room and menacingly creeps toward the camera freaked me out.

I believe you refer to the "Nuke their ass and take the gas" t-shirt, listed among my other slogan t-shirts in a Response thread earlier this week:

But I'm not even sure I've correctly identified which Caldwell wrote the "Light Sweet Crude" column (one column changed its name, as I recall, just as mine eventually went from being called "Voice of Reason" to "Voice of Resignation").

You wore a plastic lobster, as I recall. Those were dangerous times.

If I remember correctly, that Halloween party was at my apartment. You were wearing a t-shirt that said "Kill 'em all! Let God sort 'em out!" -- prompting one of my lefty friends to say, "Geez, you'd think Todd would at least have made an effort to wear a costume."
